Media Literacy Bootcamp

The Media Literacy Bootcamp is a professional development training program for youth in Iraq that includes modules on Media Consumption Habits, Social Media and Algorithms, Disinformation and Manipulation , Media Literacy and Artificial Intelligence, and Tips to Protect Yourself from Disinformation, and Digital Wellness. The 21st century learning skills of creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration skills are embedded throughout sessions. Training events are held in Arabic and English, and are led by U.S. and Iraqi experts. To participate, you must be a youth between the ages of 18 and 26 and currently live in the Baghdad area.
